Dear Clearfield YMCA Members,
We will be placing all memberships on hold and will not be drafting any monthly fees until we are able to reopen. For members who were drafted on March 16, 2020, we will not be drafting their account when we reopen for the first month. For the members that have paid in full for a year, we will be extending your expiration date.
We respectfully request that you not cancel your membership. There is no financial difference between the two options, both will defer your payments to the Y; however, placing a “hold” on your membership signals to us that you are still “with us” and that matters to us. We need to know we are not alone. We need to know that our members are with us.
Your YMCA membership always has been about more than access to a building. Your Y membership is about making connections and building relationships. It’s about ensuring everyone—no matter who they are or where they come from—gets the support they need to reach their full potential. It’s about making your contribution to a stronger community. And we need that contribution more than ever right now.
We are committed to being there for you and our community when the tough work of recovery begins. In the meantime, we need you to be there for us—to support our staff and sustain our organization so we’re able to jump back into action when the time comes.
If you are able, please consider making a tax deductible donation. We are just as eager as everyone to reopen our doors, and when that time comes, we know it will be an exciting day, please considering donating today to help support the Y now as we have no income and must maintain our utilities, support staff, and pay insurance for when we do re-open.
So please, stay with us. Please continue supporting the YMCA. And until we see you again, take care, stay safe, and remain healthy.
Your YMCA Staff
There are two convenient ways to pay for your YMCA membership. You can pay in full by cash, check, visa, master card or discover or you can choose our monthly automated bank draft. Either way, you will find that your YMCA membership is definitely worth the cost towards a healthier you. When joining the YMCA, a new member will pay a Capital Development fee. As long as you keep your membership active you will not have to pay the Capital Development fee again. This fee will be used to purchase new equipment or replace existing facility items. If you choose to do the bank draft, you will pay the Development fee plus the first month’s draft amount to begin your membership. You will also need a voided check from the account you wish to use for your draft. We will never turn anyone away because of financial difficulty. Help is available for memberships based on demonstrated need and availability. Applications are available at the front desk for Financial Assistance.
Membership Referral Program
Memberships must be renewed within 30 days of expiration date so as not to repay the Capital Development Fee.
Membership dues are non refundable.
